Project Coordinator, International Division
Location: Bethesda, Maryland
Salary: Commensurate with mid-level experience and qualifications (Exempt)
Job Description
The Project Coordinator’s primary responsibility is
to backstop at least two USAID-funded projects: a health project
in the Middle East, and a global infant and young child nutrition
program. This position reports to the Senior Program Officer
and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Provide administrative, technical and financial
management support to field-based project and staff.
This involves tracking project expenses, reviewing and processing
monthly
field reports, preparing
and analyzing quarterly financial reports
and assisting in budget preparation.
- Assist in preparation of reports and project deliverables
which includes editing, proofreading, translating
and/or coordinating translation services.

Serve as link and point of contact between URC headquarters
and the project field office; and carry out occasional
field-visits to work together with project staff.
- Arrange procurement and shipment of commodities to the field
office and review local procurement documentation; ensure compliance
with USAID regulations; Coordinate travel arrangements for
staff.

Coordinate and track the consultant hiring process, including
preparing consultant hire documents,
making travel arrangements, and providing administrative support
to consultants as needed.

Ensure timely and effective program implementation
by tracking progress on work plans and deliverable submission.

Assist with management of subcontracts,
including review of monthly expenditure vouchers against
budgets and oversee
and track salary payment process.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic
and paper filing systems for assigned projects.

Assist with the preparation and distribution
of technical documents and PR publications about the project
.

Assist with proposals and provide support
to other projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Public Health or a related field, PLUS at least two years experience in project support utilizing budgeting skills and applying procedures and regulations. Master's degree or credits may substitute for a year of relevant experience. Overseas experience working with international projects coordinating communications and administrative areas preferred. Fluency in Spanish and English required. Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel is required with Access and Power Point preferred. To Apply
