Contract Agency: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the US President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)
ITOPSS II allows CDC to access outside expertise to accomplish its goals for improving global health. Under this Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, The QED Group, LLC, will lead a consortium of partners that will provide support and professional services for tasks, studies, and projects performed for the CDC. The CDC implements HIV/AIDS-related programs in many countries to prevent HIV infection, improve care and support to people affected by the virus, and build global capacity to fight the AIDS epidemic.
URC's technical support will focus on HIV/AIDS and TB services, operations and management systems, laboratory support services, and other areas. URC will also extend the network of country field offices, regional offices, and local representatives to provide support to the overall QED consortium.
