Global Operations and Security Coordinator

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Perform research on security risks for staff departing to high risk locations and send to the Associate Director for Global Operations and Security for review
  • Schedule and assist with providing pre-departure briefings for staff traveling to high risk locations
  • Maintain all security trackers, which includes, but are not limited to, pre-departure briefings, acknowledgement of risk waiver, travel, field office locations, vetted hotels, vetted security service providers, and country-specific emergency/evacuation, security, and business continuity plans
  • Assist in drafting security-related manuals, procedures, and processes and in coordination with Global Operations, facilitate approval or amendments of these documents
  • Assist in security-related procurements, which includes security providers for business development staff traveling to high risk locations and security providers to be added to the consortium of a proposal
  • Update the country registration database
  • Assist in updating Country-Specific SOP Manuals
  • Manage all the files of the Global Operations and Security departments
  • Coordinate logistics for Field Operations Improvement Team trips to project sites and other travel logistics as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Global Operations and Security and Senior Director, Global Operations and Security
Job Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, international development, or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years working in development and US government contracting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willing to travel internationally as required
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint preferred
  • Fluent in French and/or Spanish (writing and speaking) preferred
