URC is continually exploring new opportunities for business partnerships, to the benefit of our clients and the populations they serve. We are proud of our long history of strategic business alliances to implement specific projects and develop new areas of business.
To improve patient safety and provide top-quality health care at a lower cost, URC entered into a strategic alliance with Quantros, Inc., a California-based technology firm, to develop and implement user-friendly solutions that put the power of information technology in the hands of health providers and health managers.
To implement specific projects, our current partners include: Abt Associates, Inc., Cooperative League of the United States of America (CLUSA), EngenderHealth, IBM Global Services, Initiatives, Inc., John Snow, Inc., Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (JHU/CCP), Johns Hopkins Program for International Education in Reproductive Health (JHPIEGO), Joint Commission Resources, Maxwell Stamp, Pathfinder International, The Population Council, Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), and Social & Health Services, Ltd. (a division of ORC Macro). We also maintain ongoing collaboration on technical activities with the World Health Organization, UNAIDS, the Pan American Health Organization, Makerere University in Uganda, and the Commonwealth Regional Health Community Secretariat (CRHCS) in Arusha, Tanzania.
