Applying the Science of Improvement to Achieving Quality Care for Vulnerable Children in Ethiopia

This document describes the Ethiopian government's and implementing partners’ efforts to move beyond the emergency response approach to focus on the quality of services provided to orphans and vulnerable (OVC) children. The document explains how the Ministry of Women’s Affairs and the HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Office joined with PEPFAR-funded organizations to address the quality gap in OVC services by developing agreed-upon quality improvement service standards (2009, 34 pages).
