Communications & Outreach
URC employs strategic communications and outreach to help our clients reduce the human and economic costs of preventable health problems and to strengthen the delivery and management of healthcare services, both in the United States and in developing and middle income countries worldwide. Working collaboratively with clients, we design, implement, and evaluate communications, social marketing, and behavior change strategies.
URC designs and implements communications and social marketing campaigns to facilitate and support changes in individual behavior and institutional and community norms and galvanize stakeholders and gatekeepers. We develop, promote, and disseminate high-quality products, such as bulletins, CD-ROMs, issue papers, newsletters, and videos. In addition, we respond to health-related inquiries from various segments of the public, including individuals from populations affected by health issues, health professionals, parents, researchers, and educators. We also offer media services and training on communication strategies.
