Contract Overview

URC is leading a team to support USAID in developing and strengthening tuberculosis (TB) programs worldwide. This Indefinite Quantity Contract gives the USAID Global Health Bureau and Missions a way to obtain expert advice and assistance on how to build and expand sustainable TB control and prevention programs in the countries that are most affected by the disease.

URC Services

  • Expand Directly Observed Treatment, Short Course, (DOTS): To increase case finding and detection and improve treatment success rates
  • Strengthen services to prevent multidrug-resistant and extensively drug-resistant TB
  • Improve cross-referral services for HIV and TB patients
  • Increase access to TB diagnostics
  • Develop national and local advocacy, communication, and social mobilization strategies
