Solomon Islands
Successful health care initiatives must keep pace with significant and evolving challenges that face the public health community in the Solomon Islands. In 1994, URC went to the Solomon Islands to implement the Development of a Population and Family Health Improvement Project. The development initiative, funded by the Asian Development Bank, conducted public awareness campaigns and improved population-related management information systems.
