Belize
Belize is a highly diverse country with a population of over 330,000. Beginning in 2007, URC rolled out several public health projects in Belize, including Global Fund Consulting Services and the Improvement of Maternal and Neonatal Health in Belize project. URC provided a range of services, including technical assistance focused on coordination, communication, conflict of interest, leadership, developing partnerships, data quality management, monitoring and evaluation, oversight, and overall management.
From 2011–2012, URC implemented the Quality Improvement of Family Planning Care project, providing technical assistance to the Belize Ministry of Health (MOH) to strengthen contraceptive services in the country. URC and the Belize MOH partnered again in 2013 to improve access to and use and quality of maternal, infant, child, and reproductive health services.
