Gaza
In Gaza, effective strategies are needed to reduce the burden of providing health services to its population. URC began working in Gaza in 2002 implemented the USAID-funded Maram Project, which worked to build Palestinian capacity to delivery health services, including during emergencies. To assess health services in the West Bank and Gaza, the URC team implemented approaches in quality improvement, health systems strengthening, and research and evaluation.
