Rashad Massoud Honored as ISQua Academy for Quality and Safety Inaugural Member
Recently, M. Rashad Massoud – URC Chief Medical and Quality Officer and Senior Vice President – was appointed to be one of 35 members of the International Academy of Quality & Safety (IAQS). IAQS was created by the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) to recognize distinguished individuals who have contributed significantly to the field of quality and safety in healthcare.
IAQS recognizes excellence of leadership within research, academia, or service delivery. Membership in the IAQS is one of the highest honors that an individual working in this area can receive.
The 35 founding members of the IAQS were nominated and then elected by ISQua experts and the board in June 2018. Academy membership is life-long.
