Register to Take a Closer Look at Adolescent Girls Programming
Join us for an exciting OVC Task Force-sponsored event that will bring together policy makers, researchers, and OVC practitioners as we take a closer look at programming for adolescent girls that seeks to prevent and reduce HIV infections.
September 22, 2016
Plan International USA - 1255 23rd St NW #300
Participants will also be able to join remotely.
Through project presentations and reflections from policymakers and researchers, participants will have the opportunity to receive updates on current US government guidance on PEPFAR programming; learn how evidence-based and innovative programming for adolescent girls is being implemented; gain specific insight into best practices and lessons learned; share experiences; and contribute to the learning agenda.
In addition to co-chairing the OVC task force, URC works with national, provincial, and district governments to develop and pilot community-level standards of care for vulnerable children at the point of service delivery.
