URC Presents TB Work at International Lung Health Conference

URC had a significant presence at the 42nd Union World Conference on Lung Health in Lille, France, on October 26–30, 2011. Thirty-six URC participants—representing Bangladesh, Botswana, Cambodia, Georgia, Indonesia, Malawi, South Africa, Swaziland, Vietnam, and Bethesda headquarters—attended, with support from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In addition, we had a booth with handouts, CDs, and booklets on our TB work. Two large banners on either side of the booth promoted the USAID TB CARE II project, now entering its second year, as well as the USAID TB South Africa Program, entering its third.
