The USAID Applying Science to Strengthen and Improve Systems project (ASSIST), led by University Research Co., LLC (URC) began working in Kenya in October 2012, building on the work of the USAID Health Care Improvement project (HCI). In Kenya, ASSIST supports the Ministry of Health (MOH); the Ministry of Labor, East African Community and Social Security (MLEAC&SS); the National AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infection Control Program (NASCOP); United States Government (USG) implementing partners (IPs); and county governments to design, develop, and implement strategies that will enhance the quality of health service delivery.
