Evaluation of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices of Health Care Providers toward HIV-Positive Patients in Tanzania

This study assessed whether HIV/AIDS care providers’ stigma affects the quality of care they provide to their patients. It evaluated structured interviews conducted with more than 200 health care providers in three public hospitals in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to determine the extent to which stigma affected care (2007, 27 pages).
