New Wheelchairs at Primary Health Care Model Clinics Support Improved Care of Persons with Disabilities

USAID’s PHCPI recently supplied urgently needed equipment, including wheelchairs, to the 36 PHC model clinics throughout Iraq. In Maysan province, the Al Ameer PHC Clinic sees approximately 350 patients per day, including many elderly women with chronic diseases such as diabetes and arthritis that impact their mobility.
