ProMPT and the Peace Corps Partner to Reach Marginalized Groups during Mosquito Net Distribution Campaigns in Ghana

This brief describes the interventions implemented by the Promoting Malaria Prevention and Treatment (ProMPT) project, the US Peace Corps’ Stomping Out Malaria program, and other partners to reach marginalized groups during a nationwide insecticide-treated net distribution campaign. These groups include the kakayei, a group of low-wage workers that follow a seasonal working pattern, who typically sleep in large groups in temporary shacks or on the streets.
