Using Drama to Raise Malaria Awareness in Ghanaian Communities and Schools

This brief highlights how the Promoting Malaria Prevention and Treatment (ProMPT) project employed drama for malaria education both in communities and schools. The dramas informed and engaged audience members on malaria prevention and control: use of long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs); intermittent preventive treatment of malaria in pregnant women (IPTp); and prompt care-seeking and use of appropriate malaria treatment. Scripts used in both settings are included as appendices.
