GAVI Benin Results-based Financing (RBF)

Conducted two studies on the effects of results-based financing (RBF) on immunization coverage in Benin, working closely with the GAVI Alliance and Benin’s Ministry of Health (MOH)/National Directorate for the Expanded Program on Immunization and Primary Health Care. The studies use a mixed-methods approach to understand how the RBF scheme is incentivizing immunization-related activities, the barriers and facilitators to improving coverage, how barriers can be addressed through RBF, and how vaccination successes can be translated to zones with weaker performance.
