Syria
In 2007, URC went to Syria to implement our strategy for strengthening the oversight role of Country Coordinating Mechanisms (CCMs). The Global Fund relies on CCMs to support and oversee principal recipients, organizations responsible for project implementation. The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria funded the project.
