URC’s involvement in Tunisia began in 1981, supporting the USAID-funded Rural Community Health Project to build the Ministry’s capacity to delivery health care services. In 2014, URC began supporting TASC 4 Africa – Population, Health and Nutrition IDIQ.

The project, which operated in 28 countries, is improving the health of all people, especially women, children, and other vulnerable populations, by expanding basic health services, strengthening national health systems and addressing global issues and special concerns, such as HIV/AID and other infectious diseases.
