The URC-implemented USAID’s TB Platforms Project is transforming TB screening and testing in the Philippines by delivering diagnosis to clients’ doorsteps.

Using ultraportable X-rays coupled with artificial intelligence (AI) driven computer-aided detection (CAD), coupled with Truenat mobile sputum testing, URC has successfully increased TB screening and reduced turnaround time from screening to diagnosis from five days to one in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.

Follow one client’s experience as she – along with her household of eight – are screened and tested for TB in the Philippines’ Tarlac Province.
